Growing up, I usually had a comforter as the top cover. It was not until recently that I got a duvet cover, and I love it. I appreciate a quality duvet because it has nice weight to it, so the heat doesn’t escape as easily compared to a light comforter. I personally recommend getting an oversized duvet so it can drape over the edge of the bed.
